Ouch! I sent it off to my good friend Raymond of Ray's Electric Trains and was given the choice of PS2 or PS3 power. Why not? It runs fabulously! Many often ask why I sell my trains. Let me answer that in this case, especially after the repair. I had been looking for the GP40 versions of the MTH CSX diesels. I got impatient and purchased this unit as I wanted to run some CSX models as we had just signed CSX up as a customer at work. The SD70-Mac served that need. Then of course, a few months later I find the road number 6500 of the GP40 and then recently found 6504. Therefore, I am offering the SD70-Mac for someone else to enjoy. (I’m kind of a nut for the GP40’s and have several of them.) The SD70M is in great condition! With just two hours and 50 minutes of run time. Most of that in testing following the repair and upgrade. Yes, the original MTH purple box comes with the purchase. Shipping to continental United States is through USPS Ground Advantage including insurance for the final purchase price.
