This beautiful moon ring has been hand crafted and assembled in the US by AZ based artisan Joshua Eisler. The center stone for this ring was ejected from the Moon and found in Mali by camel shepherds in January 2021 .The center stone has been free-hand shaped to find the best qualities in each area of the stone, and making every piece totally unique. This ring's unique center stone has a natural "ravine" in one corner that escaped polishing, and that Joshua decided to incorporate into the final piece. It's also worth noting that while the stone looks quite dark and almost black both in the photographs and in person, but when using a lighted loupe a much lighter naturally toned coloration is revealed with speckling and an almost beige color pallet. It has been classified and given the name NWA 14041 by the Meteoritical Society with the classification: Lunar Feldspathic Breccia. The official name and classification have been published in the Meteoritical Bulletin. Paren body: The Moon - this is material ejected from our Moon when it was hit by another meteorite and became a meteorite itself when it hit the Earth. What you get: Lunar meteorite hand crafted and set in sterling silver ring as shown, with signed Certificate of Authenticity. Top Meteorite offers a 100% no questions asked 30 day return policy.
