Description: Here is a built model kit: A Luminators King Kong, issued in day-glow, black light plastic by Monogram Models. From the Aurora kit of the same name. This build is complete and includes the parts that were missing from all King Kong Luminator kits. These parts, a broken tree and several palm fronds, have been specially made and are molded in pink resin, cast from the original Aurora parts. Several color-changing RGB LEDs are wired into the kit and are powered by a 9-volt battery, controlled by a simple switch attached to the custom-made, two layer pink/black plexiglass platform.
