How To Adjust the Zero All pressure transducers require initial and periodic zero adjustments. Prior to initial operation and during periodic maintenance you must check the transducer zero to verify the proper output. The zero can be set (or reset) by adjusting the ZERO potentiometer located on the top of the transducer or at the front panel of any MKS Power Supply/Readout being used. If the ZERO potentiometer fails to provide sufficient adjustment, the COARSE ZERO switch may be used. To achieve the full dynamic range specified for the transducer, the zero adjustment must be made at a pressure less than the transducer’s resolution (0.001% of FS). Low range transducers should be pumped for at least one hour after exposure to air to remove any moisture and to allow the pressure to stabilize. Zeroing a transducer above its stated minimum resolution creates a zero offset relative to true absolute pressure. All subsequent readings are then linear and accurate relative to the offset value. OverviewThe 625H13TCEEU Heated (100°C) Absolute Baratron® Capacitance Manometer with Trip Points features 1000 Torr full scale pressure measurement, a female 8 VCR type fitting, and 15-pin D-subminiature electrical connector. It has two user adjustable process trip point relays, each with an adjustment range from 0.1% to 100% of Full Scale or voltage equivalent 0.01 to 10 VDC. Dual color LEDs indicate relay status. Typical relay uses include pump cross-over and valve activation. The 625H operates with ±15 VDC (±5%) input at <600 mA, and provides an output of 0 to 10 VDC linear with pressure. The 625H sensor exposes only Inconel® to the process permitting the use with corrosive or dirty gases. Measurements are independent of gas composition. The modern stainless steel enclosure provides a cleanroom compatible product.
