Overall length: 7-7/8"Blade length: 4-1/8"Blade width: 5/8" The base of the blade is clearly stamped KA-BAR over OLEAN, NY. My research suggests this knife dates from approxoximately 1943 to 1950, but I cannot ensure that this is 100% correct. I was very surprised to learn this knife is over 70 years old, because it is in beautiful condition. Someone must have left this in a drawer for a long time. All parts of this knife and its sheath are excellent. There are some minor scratches on the blade. I believe a proper polishing could get rid of those. The sheath is particularly nice, with all parts being soft and flexible. Please let the photos be your guide on the condition and age of this knife. I am not an expert on KA-BAR, knives, production dates, nor anything else. However, I truly believe this is an outstanding example of this knife.
