The sticker is individual computer-cut purple adhesive vinyl graphics and you have to put it on a light-colored surface to create the contrast. I CAN ALSO REVERSE THE COLORS TO WHITE (see sample) IF YOU WANT TO PUT THE STICKERS ON A DARK BACKGROUND LIKE A CAR WINDOW - REQUEST THIS IN THE NOTES WHEN ORDERING. Ideal surface to place it on is smooth metal, glass or plastic. The sticker will be less adhesive on a wall that's been painted with flat latex paint and even less on an uneven surface with grain such as stucco or unfinished wood. Will not adhere to clothing.
