Description: Up for sale is a COMPLETE TWO PART SET that provides a comprehensive look at mining activities in the United States in the year 1922. Part I covers metals; Part II covers non-metals. It is uncommon to find both parts, in matching bindings, offered for sale at the same time. These books have much interesting material, both narrative and statistical. For example, certain products, now considered undesirable and toxic - such as arsenic and asbestos - were aggressively mined, produced and used in a wide variety of applications throughout the economy. The lot includes BOTH of the following: Book # 1 (of 2): [Shown as the book on the left in photos # 1-6 and as the only book in photos # 7-9.]Title: Mineral Resources of the United States 1922: Part I METALSAuthor: G.
