Description: This is an exciting, open and go curriculum complete with all of the supplies needed for a year of learning and experiments on a variety of Earth & Space topics, from weather and climate to erosion and plate tectonics. This curriculum is recommended for grades 3-7. Some of the experiments include making your own LED constellation, crushing a can with the power of air pressure, testing different methods of flood protection, investigating the effects of acid on marble, and excavating fossils in a simulated dig site. There are six different themes, each with a full color Student Workbook with reading passages, step-by-step experiment processes, student assessments, and real-world applications. Each theme also includes a Teacher Guide which will help guide the teacher through assisting with experiments, answering student questions, and providing options to engage your student in meaningful learning experiences. Also with each theme is all of the materials needed for the experiments. This curriculum originally came in 6 different boxes; I have combined them into one box to make shipping easier, but all of the supplies are separated in bags and labeled by theme. The only thing that was used is the piece of sidewalk chalk. There is no writing in any of the books.
