Description: This listing is for an estate find Fisher 80-T. The 80-T is a great tuner-preamp from the classic mono Fisher era. These brass faceplate units are from before their quality devolved into the down-market stereo integrated amps and receivers of the 1960’s. The 3 tube preamp is connected to the power supply and 13 tube tuner internally via an umbilical cord. As this is written, I have two 80-T for sale in different listings. Please look closely at the pictures because what is shown is what will be shipped. It has not been tested. It is sold “for parts or not working” and is offered for sale in as-is, as-pictured condition for parts, repair or restoration. From the service manual is this info: TUBE COMPLEMENT: A total of 16 including 2-6BQ7A, 1-6CB6, 1-6BE6, 1-6AU6, 1-6AL5, 2-12AX7, 2-6BJ6, 3-6C4, 2-6U8 and 1-6X4.
