Description: Mel Wacks produced different counterstamped coins that commemorated various events, including this countrrstamp, commemorating the DOUBLE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY of the Statue of Liberty, 1886-1986. It is counterstamped on a 1976 Kennedy Half Dollar coin. I have a total of THREE of these coins. ALL of them were minted in San Francisco, showing the S Mint Mark, but only one was minted on a 40% Silver coin. The other two were minted on a Copper-Nickel coin. Please contact me after winning the coin and let me know which one of the 3 you want to receive. If you don't let me know, you will randomly receive one of them. This particular one is not listed in Mel's catalog, since his last cataloged coin was counterstamped in 1984. What you see is what you get - I did not use any stock photos for this auction. I combine shipping!
