It clearly establishes the genre of "Arakinema" as a new photographic expression that is neither a film nor a slide. Araki Nobuyoshi Born May 25, 1940 in Tokyo. Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University. Received the first Taiyo Award in 1964. Since his debut as a photographer in 1971 with "Sentimental Journey" (privately published, out of print), which depicted his honeymoon with his wife, he has continued to receive high praise not only in Japan but also overseas. His major collections include "Satchin," "My Love: Yoko," "Tokyo Diary," "Photography Theory," "Skyscape/Close View," "Complete Works of Araki Ii Photography, 20 Volumes," and many others. ◎Moriyama Daido Born October 10, 1938 in Osaka. After working as an assistant to Iwamiya Takeji and Hosoe Eikoh, he became independent in 1963. In 1968, he published his first photo collection, "Nippon Theater Photo Album," with text by Terayama Shuji. Since then, he has continued to pursue cutting-edge expression as one of Japan's leading photographers to this day. His major collections of works include "Goodbye Photography," "Tales of Tono," "Light and Shadow," "Memories of a Dog," "Letters to Sanru," "COLOR," "hysteric DAIDO," and many others.
