Jerky or hesitant operation will drive you crazy. The internal contacts of the MCOR get corroded and can no longer provide a clean throttle signal to the controller. An MCOR can also fail and keep a vehicle from running entirely. This happens when the internal micro switch fails and does not close when the pedal is depressed. Remove the pedal assembly by removing the two T40 and two T30 Torx screws holding it onto the vehicle frame. Life the pedal assembly out of the car for access to the MCOR. Remove the mounting hardware and remove the defective unit. Install the new MCOR in the opposite order of disassembly. Please ask if you have any questions.
