The gray cloth-covered boards show minor-to-moderate wear at the spine ends (including a slight fraying at the top of the spine) but no significant defects. The gold and black printing on the front cover and spine is slightly chipped but largely intact. The book has no loose, torn, missing pages. Apart from a 1951 inscription on the front end-page, the pages are clean and unmarked. There is no marking, underlining, or highlighting anywhere in the book. The unclipped dust jacket is in Good (or maybe Good-Minus) condition with significant chipping at the spine ends and along the edges of the jacket (especially at the front and rear creases). There is age-related discoloration to the inside of the jacket. Pieces of clear tape have been applied to the inside of the jacket to reinforce the spine ends and the front jacket crease. There is NO tape on the outside of the jacket. The dust jacket is now covered in Mylar to prevent further damage. All photos except the last one, however, were taken without the Mylar.
