These dolls were inspired by the aesthetic of the vintage original and have been elevated with elegant fashion using high end textiles and immaculate attention to detail. Their bodies are made of a dense, heavy weight vinyl that is intended to resemble the feel of porcelain. This is the "Nicolai" doll, released in 2010 as a part of a special series inspired by Russia. It was a limited edition of 4000 world wide. From the back: "Never say "Nyet" to the romance of Imperial St. Petersburg. Baroque palaces, majestic moonlit nights, balalaika music: just add a dashing man in uniform for a divine Russian reverie. Military chic inspires masculine fashion with a unique, Eastern European twist." He appears to never have been removed from the packaging,and is packed neatly and intact in his box. All pieces appear to be present. His clothing is clean and he has no signs of being displayed or manipulated. The box has some light scuffing on the edges (see pictures). Paper elements might have some discoloration. Artificial materials or elastics may be weak or degraded from age and were not tested for their integrity.
