MATCHED PAIR of Machine Age Art Deco Chrome & Glass Double Lamps c.1937 RESTORED

Description: This amazing matched pair of decorative lamps dates to the mid-1930’s. Comprised almost entirely of circles, their playful design evokes the essence of the machine age modernism whose foundation was one of pure geometric minimalism. These lamps have been restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary use. The four satin finish glass shades are in excellent condition.* All chrome components have been ultrasonically cleaned and subsequently polished. The chrome surfaces show extremly slight wear from use over time. Original rotary switches have been refurbished with new vintage stock. Internal wiring has been refurbished with new. New reproduction mahogany fabric covered power cords are appointed with new vintage style plugs. These lamps utilize low wattage candelabra base bulbs such as those shown in the final photo. Bulbs are not included.
