Description: This listing is for an absolutely massive sauropod limb bone end from the Jurassic Morrison Formation of Wyoming. The bone weighs a little over 63lbs and is the end of a very large bone either a femur or humerus that would have been upwards of 5 feet long if complete. It’s crazy to think this end is 63 pounds meaning the entire bone if complete would have been several hundred pounds in weight! This was identified by an expert in this formation as Apatosaurus but it is hard to say for sure since there were other larger sauropods that existed there such as Camarasaurus and Diplodocus. Zero repair or restoration and a very impressive addition to any collection!
