Before streaming, CGI & the Marvel Multiverse were things, the superheroes of this awesome, Aladdin lunchbox set were keeping America ( and the rest of the world) safe. Another stunning lunchbox & thermos consigned to us from a collection being downsized, this estate-fresh prize features an amazing lineup of Marvel characters, some very well known, some perhaps a bit more obscure. I was a HUGE fan of the X-Men, back in the day, and I could ink both Iron Man AND Spidey pretty well( if you don't mind me saying ) but there are a number of superheroes on this box that I don't remember. I'm sure there's more than one Marvel superfan who would recognize them all & be thrilled to have this set in their hands. This Aladdin metal lunchbox & thermos ~ including plug & cap ~ are in phenomenal condition. The front panel featuring Thor, Captain America & Spiderman is a real eye-catcher! The front border & edges show some faint scratching & a few miniscule ~ tiny ~ deflections/dents ( they're almost too small to call them dents but, please, take a close look for yourself). The embossing is sharp & strong, the colors bold & bright, the detailing crisp all around. The back panel features the Fantastic Four and is as sharp & clean as the front, though the panel frame shows a bit more wear, much like the bottom side panel; all typical.( Those 2 panels DID get all the wear during usage, of course. ) The handle & keepers, along with the latch, are bright and excellent. The interior features a thermos keeper and is super clean, as is the thermos, cap & plug.All in all, this is a superb Aladdin lunchbox set with no bends, breaks, dents or other significant losses. Look around Ebay & elsewhere: you'll be hard-pressed to find a better example of this Aladdin Marvel lunchbox.
