This knob is able to keep that uncomfortable stinging feeling out of a batter's hands if you take a baseball close to the hands or up near the end-cap. Drop 5 bats will be required for use in the 14U division of USSSA baseball. And they will work really well for advanced 12 and 13-year-old players (even if they are not in the 14U division yet).
