Description: Please see all the pictures. "The Lodger is the first known novelization based on the Jack the Ripper Story." Originally a serial released in McClure's Magazine in 1911, the story was used by Alfred Hitchcock for his first movie. This is the 1940 edition. The dust jacket has wear and is not perfect (see pictures). The jacket also has a spot where it looks like someone tried to rub off a price. The binding is tight, there are no loose pages and I have found no writing or stains. It has darkened around the edges from age. The corners are not bumped, the blue board covering has wear around the edges. This ships via USPS media mail with tracking at the USPS media mail price.
