The art was hung in the rooms in the Pirates of the Caribbean section of the Caribbean Hotel and measures 18.5" x 18.5" Pirates of the Caribbean opened in 1967 was the last Attraction overseen by Walt Disney himself. Sadly, 3 months later he passed away. The Pirates of the Caribbean in Walt Disney World in 1973. Marc Davis, one of Disney's 9 Old Men, started as an animator, known as the "Lady's Man" for designing many of Disney Films leading ladies such as Snow White, Malificent, Cruella DeVil, Tinker Bell, and more... Later transferring to Disneys design department now known as Walt Disney Imagineering, being one of Disney's Original Imagineers, Marc contributed whimsical story and character concepts for attractions such as, The Haunted Mansion, The Jungle Cruise, It's a small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room and More!
