Description: 10" Mapex Black Panther hammered bronze snare with Ahead softcase, both in great condition. Integrated L-arm mount. No scratches to lacquer. There is a small spotting of oxidation of the bronze under the lacquer top left above badge which you can see if you zoom in on the photo. This is common on bronze shells - I have much bigger patches of same on my bronze Ludwig snare but this does not effect the lacquer - that is it won't bubble or peel. The black nickel on lugs and hoops is in top condition - I can only find two lugs with a tiny scratch each and a few marks on the edge of the top hoop. The only way you would find one in better condition is if it had never been used - and even then the under-the-lacquer oxidation could still occur.
