Description: For sale is a map of 1978 San Diego published by Western Map Company for the Sand Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau. This is a two-color (black and blue) double sided printing. The front of the map covers about 40 miles north to south (San Marcos to Tijuana) and 20 miles east to west (Lakeside, El Gajon). The reverse side zooms into the city from CA 274 (Balboa Avenue) until most of Coronado and east until 28th Street. A list of Points of Interest is accompanied by a large blue arrow showing the location of the Convention Bureau office. This piece is in good vintage condition with some storage wear including a bends and minor wrinkles (detail, photograph 10).
