Note: this is a heavy set of volumes. The Fechner collection was auctioned in three parts at Swann Galleries in New York, each a year apart (2005-2007) and each with its own illustrated catalogue. Fechner, a major French film producer for over 30 years, had built a collection widely considered to be one of the most important in the world in terms of its range and quality. Rich in 19th and 20th century material, the auctions featured a large selection of Magic Posters—many of which are very rare—as well as autographs, books, magic catalogues, photographs, magic equipment, and other related ephemera. Over 1100 lots with estimates. A superb set of reference works.
