Description: 10" round sterling bowl inscribed: "Morris & Essex Kennel Club"; "1935"; "Boxers"; and "Barmere Kennels Trophy for Winners Dog". The bowl measures 10" round by about 2.25" high. Weighs 17.48 Troy Oz (543.9g). Back of bowl top is stamped with a lion, anchor & a 'G" monogram, "Sterling" and the number "43118". See 5th and 6th images. The bowl's bottom is stamped "Black, Starr & Frost" above "GORHAM". In very good condition with faint buff marks. Has no dents or scratches. A review of the AKC records for the 1935 Morris Essex Dog Show finds that the Judge, B. Tuellmann, awarded the trophy to entry 3307, Owner: Mrs. W. I. Whittemore, Pilar Ben Satan, A4489.
