Description: Very rare complete set in overall Very Good condition with relatively minor cover shelf wear on edges and corners, and some light scuffing from shelving. Two volumes, 4 and 6, are closer to Good condition due to a larger imperfection on each. More detailed condition notes on some volumes with corresponding pics below: Vol 1 - small bend on lower front corner (pic 7) Vol 2 - minor edge and corner wear, a few indents on back cover (pic 8) Vol 3 - minor corner wear on front cover (pic 9) Vol 4 - general edge and corner wear (pic 10) as well as some minor water damage on upper front of book near spine, mainly on cover. First couple pages have a very faint watermark (pic 11) Vol 5 - small bend on lower front cover (pic 12) Vol 6 - some faint scratches on front cover and minor corner wear on upper back cover (pic 13). Also has a noticeable crease and small stain on lower front edge. Inside pages are unaffected (pic 14). Vol 7 - front and back cover flare slightly (pic 15); has a crease on side edge of back cover (pic 16) Vol 8 - Crease on upper back cover, scratch on front cover (pic 17) Vol 9 - general edge and corner wear (pic 18) Many volumes have some minor shelf wear on either upper or lower spine corners or edges that was not mentioned in particular in the notes above (pics 2-6). As a fellow collector I try to be picky in pointing out flaws especially on a rarer/pricier set like this one, but please allow for any similar imperfections not mentioned above that I may have missed. Outer page edges have some slight yellowing due to age, inside pages are clean and mark-free. Books have been polybagged for protection, removed to take photos.
