Description: Rare vintage F1 card (Germany version) Luigi Faggioli (9 June 1898 Osimo, Italy - 20 June 1952 Monaco) was an Italian Formula One racing driver. Faggioli started racing a Borgo motorcycle at the age of 20. In 1924 he was badly injured and finally abandoned two wheels and switched to cars, joining Enzo Ferrari's team in 1933. He was then with Mercedes and Auto Union for three years. At the age of 52, he managed to win the Mille Miglia. In 1952, he crashed heavily in a sports car race at Monte Carlo. He succumbed to his injuries a few days later. There aren't many vintage cards in Formula 1, this series is one of the few to feature the greats of Formula 1.
