With a dean plug installed correctly this puts any older vintage RC like Tamiya,rc10,Losi, back on the road. Has forward, brake and reverse. Has excellent Fail Safe built in. The A.I. allows it to understand the radio, receiver and motor it's running for peak performance of battery it's pulling from. This LRP ESC Runs on voltages of 4.8v (1/18) up to. 4 cell 7 cell 8.4v if you want to run lipo with this ESC you must buy a separate low voltage alarm 8$ for it on the ebay here. So you don't ruin your battery the alarm would go off before lipo got to low. Now Any nmhi battery is perfect for this ESC as well.
