Description: These are unique antique original brace and bit leather cutters made by LOWENTRUAT MFG Co in Newark NJ 1872-1920 and I believe a Blacksmith made ring gasket cutter. They are fully functional and collectible items for those interested in collecting traditional tools or just cutting gaskets with a hand brace. The only apology is that the Blacksmith made cutter's tang has rounded corners. It holds tightly in a brace chuck and could easily be filed into the square tapered shape if desired. These are from my 50-year collection and accumulation of 19th and early 20th century of hand tools. Please see my other auctions as I'm adding more tools daily. It's going to take awhile
