Description: This is a skirt and bodice made with embroidered French net set with what appears to be handmade Battenburg type lace panels and trim and with pink silk ribbon accents. It was not finished at the waist but should be a simple repair (perhaps a wide pink silk sash) and could be made to fit small to medium sizes. The bodice is made with fine netting set with Battenburg lace as seen. It measures 40” bust dropping to 40” waist and the skirt is 30” at the waist dropping to 34” at the front and 40” in length at the back. The silk ribbon is torn and there are a few small holes on the net skirt but overall both pieces are in very good antique condition and wearable in today’s world.
