Description: Nice set of 8 Sydney 2000 Olympic games coins (partial set of 28 commemorative collection): 1) #17-Sailing; 2) #9-Archery; 3) #21-Weightlifting; 4) #5-Hockey, 5) #8-Triathlon; 6) #13-Gymnastics; 7) #25-Cycling; and 8) #1-Athletics. All sealed on cards in like new condition; except PLEASE NOTE: #1-Athletics is loose from card and is no longer sealed on card, it also has an spot of oxidation as noted in pic's above. All coins were produced as a result of collaboration between the Royal Australian Mint and the Perth Mint and specially produced as part of a collection of 28 commemorative coins representing sports of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. All coins are 38.74mm diameter and weigh 20 grams. They are made from Al-Zn-Bronze and while dated 2000 were issued over the period 1997-2000. All beautifully detailed with the bust of Queen Elizabeth II on front and various scenes depicting sport with 5 Dollars and Sydney 2000 and Olympic rings on reverse. I can sell individually for $12.00 a piece. If you let me know which one you are interested in I will relist separate so postage is calculated. The loose Athletics coin is $5.00 I would include it for free if you buy all 8 coins; I am willing to sell the lot for $70.00.
