Description: These six Tirschenreuth Bavaria Pansy salad plates are in good condition with signs of normal light wear. There are no chips or cracks, but there has been some loss of the gold trim on the rims. There also are a few light utensil marks on the eating surfaces. I also noticed a few manufacturing defects such as tiny spots of brown paint under the glaze. Five of these plates are marked to indicate they were manufactured in the U.S. Zone, and one lacks this mark. It is possible that this sixth plate was manufactured after Germamy was reunified, but otherwise this plate is indistinguishable from the other five. Tirschenreuth calls this pattern "Pansy ," and it features pansy blossoms, leaves, and stems on a cream background. The total weight of these six plates is 2 3/4 pounds.
