Description: Up for sale here is this lot of 5 vintage 10.5" tape reels. These are all metal Scotch tape reels, in Scotch boxes, so I'm guessing the tape itself is Scotch, but I do not know for sure. Two of the boxes are marked "Scotch Magnetic Tape" and three are marked "Scotch Video Tape." I don't know if the tape is still usable as regular audio tape, but either way, the metal reels themselves are still usable. The reels all have some orange writing on them, though not a lot. I tried removing the writing from one of them using Citrasolv cleaner, and it almost all came off, but the ghost of the letters is still there (see pic 7). I am guessing a Magic Eraser would take more of it off, but it might damage the reels. Anyway, what you see is what you get. The reels are in nice shape but the tape itself is untested and might not be usable for audio, though I'm guessing it is. US shipping and handling is $25. If you have any questions, please ask.
