Description: Lot Of 18 Vintage Plastic WWII Soldiers. Crescent. Lone Star. Herald & Unmarked. Mostly 1960s. A mixed lot of WWII infantry plastic soldiers, mainly dating from the 1960s. Most have been owned from new and were in storage until recently. There are a few later recruits! They have been loved and played with and have seen a considerable amount of action in the back garden. There are 18 in total, some painted and some unpainted, manufactured by Crescent Toys, Lone Star, Herald and unknown brands. Whilst most are good there are some with faults. (See photographs). Details in Brief:3 x Herald - radio operator, charging at the ready (no bayonet), standing firing (end of bun barrel worn away). Painted. 3 x tan-coloured figures - unmarked. Two throwing grenades, one standing guard. Unpainted. 1 x Lone Star - Harvey Series Afrika Corps figure with machine gun. Painted. 2 x khaki-coloured figures - unmarked - probably Cherilea. One firing a bazooka, one throwing a grenade. Unpainted.1 x Lone Star - Harvey Series KAR radio operator. Painted. 2 x green-coloured figures - Hong Kong. One standing firing, one charging with rifle. Painted.1 x Lone Star - Harvey Series. Standing at the ready (battered bayonet). Painted.2 x Crescent (Ref K31) standing figures with machine guns (barrels broken off). Painted & unpainted.1 x US infantryman advancing at the ready. Unknown make. Painted.2 x beige figures - unmarked. One frogman with knife, one crawling infantryman. (Could be Christmas cracker figures!) These plastic soldiers are in very good overall condition. They do have age-related wear, and a few have lost parts of their weapons. However, they are largely undamaged, have good bases and are able to stand upright.
