Description: Lot of 100 Vintage Slides Midwest Americana 1950-80's For sale a lot of 100 vintage projector slides. Many different slide developers including Kodak, Ektachrome and Parkon. These slides appear to span the late 50's to the early 80's. Some slides have writing around the edges to indicate a date and subject matter. Subject matter varies wildly, from family dinners, to weddings, vehicles, buildings and vacations. The images to the left are a good indication of the types of images that will be included in the lot. Some of the slides are square format, others are widescreen format. The majority of these slides seem to have a Midwestern Americana theme. Small town settings, gatherings of family, photos of the vehicles and places of the time. Other photos show family vacations, national landmarks across the US and some slides appear to be "souvenir photos purchased at gift stores while on a family trip. All slides are previously owned, some slides have writing around the frame, but not on the transparency itself. We have many lots available, the images shown are a sample.
