Description: This is a 100% vintage matte set printed in the USA during the 1960s, 70s and 80s. There are no mismatched glossy, book club, library, softcover, or Applewood reprint editions.If you are looking for a vintage set from when you were a kid, then this is the set for you. These books went out of print (in this format) a generation (over 35 years) ago but this set is complete with a binding that is holding together with no loose pages. There may be scuffing, soiling fading, running of the blue topstain, creases, markings such as handwriting, personal library stamps or stickers, address labels, book plates, remainder marks or doodling/coloring. Some may have a retail store price sticker or the residue from such a sticker. These are not museum-quality, but they are complete and are missing no pages. I strongly recommend this series because it has stood the test of time. If you can get a youngster to read one book from the series and s/he likes it, then the child will read the rest without thinking of reading as some kind of punishment for spending too much time with an electronic device. If you need something for children to do when it is raining, snowing, too hot, too cold, too dark, or when the Wifi is unavailable, here is the set for you.I have no affiliation with the Renaissance organization, but you can go to their website for reading scores, points, and quizzes for accelerated readers if you want to use these books for homeschooling. I have sold hundreds of sets before and know how to pack the books. Books will be sent insured and will be sent protected by two layers of cardboard and the the additional costs are reflected in the price. If you want to use a different shipping service, I am open to suggestions but you will be paying any additional costs.
