Description: This super cute Lord Nelson Ware Gold Chintz Stacking Tea Set is decorated with gold leaf and colorful floral chintz motif. The set for one consists of the teapot, creamer, handled sugar cup, and one lid that fits all three pieces. This gorgeous vintage set is overlaid with multi-color floral bouquets of gold, pinks, purples, yellows, and greens on opposite sides of each diminutive piece. The handles and rims are also gold lined. Issued under the trade name Lord Nelson Ware, England, the bottoms of the three pieces are each stamped in black under the glaze "BCM/Nelson Ware Made in England." A Gold Circle reading Lord Nelson Ware Made in England, is stamped over the BCM mark. Lord Nelson Ware was made by Elijah Cotton in Staffordshire, England. Measures approximately 6 1/4" tall stacked and 7" wide overall. Condition is excellent with the exception of one chip (see last photo) to the rim of the creamer, light crazing throughout but barely visible. No repairs. See close-ups.
