Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a rock from Sterling Hill Mineral Museum’s “Minerals of the World collection, and, as such, is not identified. It is anyone’s guess what minerals these are. My guess for the orange is Sodalite, and it could come from the Slavic region, but that is only a wild guess. Not sure what the blue fluorescing mineral is. But the combo is pretty! This is a rock weighing 8.5 ounces (243 g) and measuring 3.75 inches x 2.50 inches x 1.75 inches (9.3 cm x 6.2 cm x 4.2 cm). Photos # 1 through 5 are in LONGWAVE UV using the Engenious Designs $149 365nm flashlight. Fluorescent bulb lamps will not show the color as nicely. Photos # 6 and 7 are in MIDWAVE UV, and the remaining UV photos are in SHORTWAVE UV. NOTE: Typical Blacklight UV lights may not display any color. Also, the intensity of the color will vary depending on the strength of the lamp you have. For good quality lamps at a reasonable price, I suggest you consider the Internet offerings of Engenious Designs. This manufacturer sells these lamps directly to you (and they are not related to me in any way, and I do not sell these lamps.) I have set the shipping as Ground Advantage Mail. If you plan on bidding on MORE than one rock, let me know BEFORE you pay your invoice, so I may combine shipping to save you money. I can often combine five or six rocks in one box. If you pay first, I must ship immediately and cannot offer combined shipping rates. If you are the successful bidder, please leave positive feedback. It is much appreciated. If you have any questions, please ask.
