A Prototype is the first Basket made and presented to the Longaberger Design Team to determine if that particular item is cost effective to make and sell. Some Prototypes were numbered and placed in the historical area-not for sale. Such is the case with this particular Basket. In 2021, a sale of the historical merchandise was conducted at The Longaberger Homestead. That is where this basket came from. The Set includes the Basket and a free Protector. This Basket Set is new and comes from my smoke-free home.
