This is a spaghetti Algae that grows great in a lighted refugium, good for controlling phosphate and nitrates in your Saltwater Swim or Reef tank. This algae grows in long green filamentous clumps and is said to resemble a ball of used fishing line. Tangs, Large Angels, and Rabbitfish will feed on this algae. You will receive a mixture of fine and course sized “line” with purchase. Depending on our supply. Please let me know if you have any questions.
