Description: I have to start by saying, I do not know how this seatpost works. I do not understand how the seat rails are fit into the slots. Of course there must be a way, otherwise it would not have been made and sold. Yet it is beyond me. The post itself is in good condition. The pieces that hold the saddle have a few deformations from the screw which synches them into place. This seatpost is for your experimentation. Since I cannot figure this out, I cannot test it. Therefore, it must be sold as is, with no guarantee that it will work perfectly. It is listed as for parts or repair because it is untested.
