Lipstick Hummers offer a unique design and the chance to play a lipstick tube humbucker without having to mod your standard pickup slot. They feature a standard humbucker short-leg mounting style and will not work in a set-up that requires long leg/long tube placement (i.e. Dano/DanElectro types). For best fitment and appearance if using a pickguard, we recommend a specialized guard designed for this pickup style. For use with a pickguard featuring a standard humbucker rout style, you will likely need a “square-corner” rout designed for standard-sized covered humbuckers.
