Description: Replacement 1/4" x 1 1/2" Coiled Chamfered Shear Pin P/N 18-1039 for Lippert Power Gear Slideout Systems. These pins hold the spur gear to the motor shaft. These spiral pins remain flexible after installation, so they absorb shock and vibration better than slotted spring pins. The chamfered ends aid insertion. They work well in holes that are out of round. Breaking strength is measured as double shear, which is the force required to break a pin into three pieces. High quality - fabricated in the Czech Republic from 1050-1095 Spring Steel, Rockwell C42 Hardness, 5500lb breaking strength. Meets ASME B18.8.2 specifications for material and dimensions.
