Description: Pachmayr stopped making or offering for sale its "Wide Link" part for 1911 accuracy modification until inventory ran out. Pachmayr only offered one choice in hinge distance between the barrel link pin and the slide stop pin making adjustment in vertical locking tolerances impossible. Older guns with wear could not be addressed well. These Wide Links come with various distance selections mark identified from A to H. .003 inch increases can be selected beginning with "A" being a minus or .275". "B" being standard distance .278", and progressively further apart. The Wide Link is not to be confused with the Lippard patented A3 Link which does NOT require the cutting off of the barrel feet as with the Pachmayr design. Those that have Pachmayr guns or those that follow this design these links are a must. Instructions for cutting of the barrel feet and frame requirements are provided.
