Description: LIONEL TRAINS Lionel 6-16649 REA Railsounds Boxcar produced in 1992. This was the beginning of 'Sound' for Lionel and would be the 2nd group of 'O' Gauge size boxcar to be issued. The car has a Steam Chuff sound when in motion, a bell & whistle when activated from the buttons on a transformer. #5906 Sound activation button (included) can be used for those older transformers that don't have a whistle & bell button separately. The car works directly off of the track power. It was track tested and functions correctly. Like-New Condition with Original Box. NOTE: Boxcar body shell can be replaced with any-type of shell that is molded the same way this body shell was produced. SHIPPING: & Insurance will be a flat rate or Actual cost (shown above) to your location for UPS or USPS service in the lower 48 U.S. States.
