Description: In 1987 Linda Ronstadt recorded an album of Spanish language Mexican songs beloved to her Mexican American Dad in Arizona, called Canciones de Mi Padre with Mariachis. It became one of the biggest albums of her career, and the largest sales of any Spanish Language album ever. Ronstadt, formerly known for her Country Rock, Rock and Roll, and even Swing music, played some concert venues she had never played before to play to her Mexican fans. This poster, 23 x 29 inches, printed on heavy poster stock, was for a concert at one of those venues - in Pico Rivera, California, the Pico Rivera Sports Arena, an outdoor arena with a dirt floor where they had a Mexican Rodeo before she came out with the Mariachi Los Camperos. Always love taking my wife to a concert when the opening act is a Bullrider getting thrown and stomped in the chest by the Bull. I thought he was Dead, not moving. But the medic came out, checked him, and helped him to his feet. A Real Cowboy always walks out on his own two feet! Great show. Great audience. This was stapled to a telephone pole, so it has some staple holes, and one staple tore a quarter size hole near top center. Color Xerox the letters next to it, and artfully place the yellow and red behind the hole. That should restore it so you would not see the hole.
