This kit contains the lighting for the cockpit as seen on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back. There is also an Endor Edition listed separately , which features the 2 “headlights” in addition to the cockpit lighting. NO SOLDERING required! This kit is PLUG AND PLAY! All you need is a small screwdriver to attach the battery pack. Small modifications to the plastic model kit are necessary (outlined in included instructions). The battery pack is designed to be placed outside of the model (the wiring is almost entirely hidden), so once completed the switch is accessible without touching the model What is included:• Pre-wired LED kit to illuminate the cockpit• Mounting tube for stand• Pre-wired AAA battery pack (batteries not included)• Detailed instructions with pictures. • There is also support for this kit if you have any questions, concerns, etc. What you need:• The kit requires 2 AAA batteries to supply power.• 3 mm and 4.8 mm drill bits• Pin Vise (small drill bit hand driver)• Hobby knife• Glue (white glue/hot glue) Feel free to message me if you have any questions!!
