Description: This is the 8" Salad Plate from Lenox Temper-Ware in the BRUSHWORK BEIGE pattern. This pattern was made from 1983-1987 and features a tan beige background with a dark beige stripe and a orange brown stripe. Price is for one plate and I have six available. Quantity discount for purchases of more than one and only $1 additional shipping per each additional plate. They are all in similar condition with no cracks or chips. Some surface utensil marks. One has some deeper knife marks but I will sell that one last. These plates have held up very well to decades of use and look good! I have much more in this pattern: a gravy dish, a bowl, a roasting platter and some dinner plates. Just ask if you want to bundle or you don't see something listed. I don’t use the word “excellent” unless there is no crazing, no cracks, no chips, zero utensil marks, and no muting of colors or glaze sheen…so I rarely use the word “excellent” for a vintage item. It may seem odd to look backwards at dishes and bowls from the 1920’s-1970’s to be inspired about women’s rights but I am aware on a daily basis that any opportunity or privilege I have today was made possible by women who came before me—intelligent women like my mother who may have not been legally able to have her own checking account or attend certain universities, but still took action to shape a better future.
