Description: I'm selling my ThinkPad X1 Yoga 3rd gen (machine type 20LD). I bought this new back in May of 2018 and used it extensively until I graduated from college in 2020. It served me exceptionally well during that time and I've done my best to keep it as clean as possible, save for the stickers I stuck to the bottom during my time of ownership. I used this for a lot of note taking and also programming. About 1 month into owning this laptop, I replaced the thermal paste with liquid metal (Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut). This significantly increased the max sustained boost clock, which then rose further still once I undervolted the CPU. The liquid metal application has been kept up over time and is what I would consider "stable". That is to say, it has stopped diffusing into the copper heatsink contact area, or "drying out" as some have described when using liquid metal outside of a de-lidded CPU. I was able to reliably run a -112.5mV offset on the CPU core. You could probably get it down to -125 or maybe even lower, but that's the lowest I went. This comes pre-loaded with a clean install of Windows 11 Pro, but I've also run several Linux distros on it with good results. Ships in the original packaging that I received it in and includes a red ThinkPad-branded microfiber cloth as well as the optional proprietary ethernet dongle.
