Description: Lefty Paul McCartney fretless 4001 Rickenbacker Custom Build Bass Paul McCartney acquired a 1974 fretless Rickenbacker 4001 using it on recordings such as Take It Away and So Bad among others. Capitalizing on a butchered 4003 neck, this recreation was rebuilt around the harvested center section. It is brand-new and unplayed, but I am listing it at a lower price because the tuners, bridge, strap buttons and neck pickup all came from other Rickenbacker bass guitars. In addition, this features a vintage-spec wiring harness from the renown Dane Wilder with stereo outputs and the push-pull cap feature on the treble pickup. No case with this instrument, but a used case can be added for $90 more. Please ask all questions before purchasing. All sales final except in the event of shipping damage.Bass will ships via UPS fully-insured.
