This is for a NEW, old factory stock, quality made GOULD & GOODRICH, brand Concealment/Hip style in BROWN PLAIN USA MADE LEATHER Part of their Gold line series, this is a MODEL 897 TENSION BELT SLIDE HOLSTER. This wet molded holster is made of heavy-duty PREMIUM quality leather, had rubbed finish and double stitched on the stress areas. The seams are slicked and coated for a professional looking finish. The molding holds the holster in an open position. It prevents binding and makes a one handed re-holster easy. The firm molding provides good retention, but there is also a tension adjustment screw so you can set draw tension to taste and still have a fast top draw. The interior is smoothed and coated to go easier on your gun finish and smooth the draw. This neat little holster slides onto the belt with a wide main over your belt up to 1.5" wide in a straight up draw angle as shown. It rides high and tight for excellent concealment.
